67 Products Later The Vision for Kahli Is Taking Shape

As we move further into 2026, I wanted to share a quick update on where things currently stand with Kahli and what has been happening behind the scenes.
Over the past several weeks, a lot of time has been spent researching products, suppliers, and brands that align with Kahli's vision. What started as a simple idea has slowly grown into something much larger. The goal has always been to create a gift shop and stationery brand that combines carefully curated products with original artwork, collectibles, and designs created specifically for the Kahli community.
At the time of writing this update, the store now has over 67 products listed, not including product variations. While many of these items have not yet been purchased for inventory, they have been carefully selected based on quality, design, functionality, and how well they fit the overall aesthetic and experience I want Kahli to represent.
The next phase will be one of the most important steps so far: product validation. Before bringing items into the shop, I plan to personally purchase samples for quality checks, testing, and product photography. I want customers to feel confident that every item featured on the website has been reviewed and approved rather than simply listed for sale.
One of the most exciting developments is seeing the vision begin to take shape. Kahli is no longer looking like a single-product brand. Instead, it is gradually evolving into a complete stationery shop, gift shop, and collectibles destination. Alongside curated products, I continue working with artists to develop original Kahli designs and future merchandise that will help define the brand's identity.
Looking ahead, I am especially excited about seasonal gift boxes. The idea of creating themed collections that combine stationery, collectibles, artwork, and exclusive items feels like a natural extension of the brand. Whether it's a holiday release, a seasonal collection, or a limited-edition launch, these curated experiences are something I hope customers will look forward to.
Beyond products, there has also been a significant focus on building the business's foundation. This includes improving the Shopify store, optimizing for search engines, developing social media channels, researching future convention opportunities, planning booth displays, and documenting processes to help the brand grow sustainably over time.
One challenge that often goes unnoticed is balancing business development with the search for stable employment. Like many small business owners and creative entrepreneurs, I am currently investing time into both building the brand and securing additional income to support future growth. While it can be difficult at times, every step forward helps move the vision closer to reality.
The long-term goal remains the same: to create a memorable destination for anime fans, stationery lovers, collectors, artists, and anyone who enjoys thoughtful gifts and creative products. Whether someone visits Kahli for a unique washi tape, a collectible accessory, original artwork, or one of our future branded releases, I want the experience to feel welcoming, inspiring, and personal.
For now, the focus remains simple: continue expanding the catalog, thoroughly test products, improve the website, develop original merchandise, and prepare for future events and conventions.
There is still a long road ahead, but for the first time, it feels like the pieces are beginning to come together.
Thank you for following the journey and supporting Kahli as it continues to grow.
